Our therapists are committed to ongoing continuing education to ensure professional growth.
Many of WNJ therapists have obtained additional certifications and degrees that require
years of consistent dedication to obtain. It is this combination of clinical expertise,
genuine caring and a strong community reputation that sets Wilson N. Jones Therapy apart
and makes us the rehabilitation leader.
Heidi Howard, PT, DPT
Dr. Howard is WNJ's Clinical Supervisor of Therapy Services. She is a graduate of the University
at Buffalo and DesMoines Osteopathic Medical Center. With over 9 years of diversified experience,
Dr. Howard specializes in osteoporosis rehabilitation, is qualified to teach yoga, and is NDT certified.
James "Bo" Mosby, PT
Bo is a graduate of Southwestern Medical Center, and has extensive experience in scientific research
as a member of the PT faculty there. Bo recently embarked on a certification program for manual therapy.
He currently specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation and sports rehabilitation.
Carel Alquiza, PT
A graduate of the University of Santo Tomas, Carel brings over 15 years of experience in outpatient and
sports rehabilitation to our team. She has completed all North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual
Therapy (NAIOMT) coursework and is currently completing the manual therapy certification process.
Marsha Runnels, PT
Marsha has over 11 years of experience as a physical therapist. She has completed level I, II & III of
the NAIOMT coursework for both upper and lower quadrants and continues to pursue certification in the field
of manual therapy. She specializes in both manual therapy and neurological rehabilitation.
Bonnie Mauppin, PTA
Bonnie holds a bachelors degree in kinesiology from the University of North Texas, and completed her PTA
training through Grayson County College. She integrates her clinical expertise with fundamental principles
of exercise science to address her patient's needs.
Laura Fisher, OTR
Laura, a graduate of Texas Women's University, has provided OT services to our local community for 10
years in a variety of settings including acute, inpatient rehab, home health, and outpatient therapy.
She specializes in treating neurological disorders and upper extremity injuries.
Heather Storie, M.S., CCC-SLP
Heather is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas where she obtained her MS degree in
Communication Disorders. Heather states that she is committed to "being the best advocate possible
for her patients with communication and swallowing disorders."
