Texas Health Presbyterian - WNJ Therapy Services Staff
Our therapists are committed to ongoing continuing education to ensure professional growth. Many of Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ therapists have obtained additional certifications and degrees that require years of consistent dedication to obtain. Heidi Howard, PT - DPT
Dr. Howard is Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ's Supervisor of Therapy Services. She is a graduate of the University at Buffalo and DesMoines Osteopathic Medical Center. With over 12 years of diversified experience, Dr. Howard specializes in osteoporosis rehabilitation, is qualified to teach yoga, and is NDT certified.
Carolyn Caudell, PT-MSPT
Carolyn received her masters degree in physical therapy from UTSW. She utilizes her rehabilitation and manual skills to improve her patients’ mobility, function, and quality of life.
Marsha Runnels, PT
Marsha graduated from the UTSW and has over 14 years of experience as a PT. She has completed all NAIOMT coursework for both upper and lower quadrants and continues to pursue certification in the field of manual therapy. Marsha specializes in manual therapy, spinal rehabilitation, and neurological rehabilitation.
Bonnie Mauppin, PTA
Bonnie holds a bachelors degree in kinesiology from the University of North Texas, and completed her PTA training through GCC. She integrates her clinical expertise with fundamental principles of exercise science to address her patient's needs. Bonnie is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner.
Laura Fisher, OTR
Laura is a graduate of TWU, has provided OT services to our local community for 12 years in a variety of settings including acute, inpatient rehab, home health, and outpatient therapy. She specializes in treating neurological disorders and upper extremity injuries.
Karyn Feltner, OTR
Karyn is a graduate of the University of Kansas. She has worked in a variety of settings over 22 years including acute, rehab, work hardening, work injuries, repetitive motion injury, and specializes in the treatment of upper extremity injuries due to work and leisure activity.
Jennifer Brown, M.A. CCC-SLP
Jennifer graduated with a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Oklahoma. She has had specialized training in the areas of Dysphagia and neurological rehabilitation to improve patients speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities.
