Accredited Logo-JThe Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital-WNJ Sleep Center was developed to diagnose and treat common sleep disturbances that may be affecting you or someone you love. Under the medical direction of Muqdad Zuriqat, M.D., our team of specialists provides diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies in a private, comfortable setting. Our staff is trained in the latest diagnostic and treatment procedures, and they are committed to providing you with the highest quality of care.

Sleep Evaluation
If you suspect you have a sleep-related problem, the Sleep Center urges you to seek help now. The first step is a discussion with your family doctor.  Not all complaints require a sleep study, but if your physician feels a study is necessary, he will refer you for a consultation with one of our board-certified sleep specialists.

sleeplab02What to Expect During Your Sleep Study
The Sleep Center is designed with our patients' comfort in mind. Each of our rooms includes a spacious queen size bed, private bath and television.  The study is a completely non-invasive, painless procedure performed to determine if you have a sleep disorder. You will be ready to leave the hospital around 6:00 a.m. the morning following your sleep study, avoiding interruption to your normal daily activities. A free breakfast from the cafeteria will be provided to all patients.

What Happens After my Sleep Study?
The sleep study is completed and "scored", the sleep physician will review the recording in order to establish a diagnosis and treatment plan, which will be reviewed with you in a follow up visit.

sleeplab01Insurance
Sleep disorder testing is covered by most insurance plans, including Medicare.

We Can Help
Sleep is essential for all of us to maintain a healthy lifestyle. When we don't get enough sleep, we can feel worn out, stressed and unable to function normally. Fatigue can affect your work, your play and your family life. The good news is that in most cases, sleep disorders can be easily managed once they are properly diagnosed and treated.
