Heritage
My family came to Grayson
County, Texas before it was Grayson County, Texas. We've been here for eight
generations. The last five generations have called Wilson N. Jones their
hospital. I was born there and so were all three of my children. It's a great
part of our family heritage.
Reinvest, reinvest, reinvest
Wilson N. Jones has been here
for over ninety years, and we serve no one but the community. We don't have to
make a profit for investors. Our whole investment strategy has been to
reinvest, reinvest, reinvest in the hospital and to provide those services that
are needed for the community. That is a great advantage and it allows us to
constantly improve.
Who we serve
We serve North Texas and
Southern Oklahoma, which is a number of communities, but there's a lot of
interconnection and for us, it's one big community. A lot of our patients are
people we know: neighbors, family, friends, the people that work here and their
families. We take care of those who are familiar and those who aren't. That's
what this hospital does so well.
Local control
Because we're local, we can
adapt and expand to community demands. Ninety years is a long time and one of
the reasons this hospital continues to thrive is because there's continual
communication between us and the community.
Vision
Wilson N. Jones had a vision
and the people who carried that out had a vision. It's our charge to keep that
vision in focus. Our focus is always to concentrate on the greatest good for
this community. And we're going to keep that focus tight.
